My friend Claudia gave a gift to a co-worker today.  She sits across from me and is very crafty.
We talk "crafting" many times throughout the day, when we are not hard at work of course!

Our coworker loves pigs and every year Claudia gives her a gift with her favorite animal on it...

Bunco - Stampin' Up! Style

What a fun night!  I love playing Bunco, but my favorite is Bunco Stampin' Up! style.  Twelve demonstrators play.  We are all playing to win the $150 pot.  Runner up winner gets the hostess money, and the one with the most losses wins back half the money she put in.  Easy, huh?



The best part?  You get to make a craft with Stampin' Up! product.  Check out this cool card.  Simple and elegant.



When my up-upline Beverlee Morales has bunco at her house it is very distracting.  I am busy checking out her cool projects and and snapping my camera like a paparazzi.  Yes, my camera died and my friend Lorraine had to send  me this cool picture below.  Bev demonstrated how to make this card she made for her grandson's birthday.  Very inspiring





A game night where there's laughing, crafting, and fun with friends?  I love it!

VersaMark Technique

I recently attended an Imprints meeting in Stockton, CA.  I had an amazing time gaining new information about Stampin Up, new techniques to try out, and swap cute spring themed cards with my fellow demonstrators.  

One of the techniques that I have fell in love with is the Versa Marker technique.  What a simple technique to do on a card that leaves a cute look behind.  

The technique was used on the card above, made by my sister Nicole.  Isn't it so cute???  

Couldn't you see it as a possible Mother's Day card?

You may notice another technique being used on the punched flowers.  That is also an easy technique using the Stampin Up adhesive sheets.  So easy: stamp an image on a regular piece of card stock, punch out the design, adhere the adhesive sheet on top of the stamped image, and sprinkle some dazzling diamonds on top.  Viola!  A beautiful card!

Not that I do chores anyway...

A picture frame, patterned paper, dry erase marker, and a child willing to do chores. What do you get?




A clean house...NOT!  This lasted about a week for our Super Cay and her willingness to do her chores fizzled out.

Ben's Birthday

Another banner!  I love banners, so you will be seeing a lot.  This banner was created for a co-worker's son's 1st birthday!  This was the first time someone had not only asked me to make something, but paid me too!!! I felt so honored to be creating for such a special event.

Harry Potter Inspiration

I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!! To be fair my sister loved HP first, but I soon saw the light (patronus?) and became a fan 10 years later.  So take my love of Harry and my love of crafting and viola...my card and banner!  I made the banner for my sister's recent birthday in January and the card for my niece's birthday.  My sister was very surprised and couldn't wait to hang the banner in her craft room.  My niece loved the card so much she showed all her friends in college.  Big deal there.  She is also a huge fan, so much so that she named her small white SUV, Hedwig.

If you recognize the phrase 'Always' you are a true Potter fan.
