Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's birthday!  Every year my sister and mom get together and hang out for some girl time.  This means good food, pampering, and shopping.  We usually combo my mom's birthday with mother's day and celebrate the whole weekend.  This year we got together early and went to dinner and a movie.  Not our usual girl time.  My sister was able to extend her stay with my mom and go to the farmer's market.  So I am convincing my mom to come for a visit this week and we will go out to eat and hang out.  Here is my mom's birthday card.

Stampin' Time

My friend Jennifer asked if she could have a group together at my house to stamp.  Some people couldn't make it, but we definitely had fun! Of course I had to make tea.  My upline Niki came over to drop off some items to me and was able to save the day by loaning me her 'Family Reunion' stamp set! Thanks Niki!  The women made many mother and father's day cards and personalized them for relatives.

Mom & Dev

I love this little guy!  Can you tell? Here we are outside in our backyard swinging on the swing set.  What a moment.  The photos were snapped by my friend Gigi Vincent, a local photographer.  Check out her website here.  I just took the photos and did a little MDS.  Sometimes it is nice being in the photo, rather than taking it!

Andrea's swap

Here is Andrea's swap.  I had to do a separate entry for it so that I could show you that it is a tissue holder.  How cute is this????  Andrea got the inspiration from splitcoast stampers.  She was the other winner of our downline swap contest at a recent meeting.  Can you see handing these cute little guys out, especially during allergy season?  I like how you could keep re-using it, very clever!

A little MDS

Look at me doing a little MDS!  I seriously don't know what I am doing, but exploring it is really fun.  It could possibly be a new addiction.  Like I need another one!  This was a page of Daddy and Devan having a moment of peace and story-telling.  They look so cute!  Just seeing the picture makes me wish I was there.  Where are they? They are in Nana and Papa's backyard in Elk River, Minnesota.  What a view, right?

Downline Projects

Nicole had 2 projects for us to complete after we had enjoyed our wonderful tea lunch.  Both projects were so much fun to do and great ideas to use in future workshops or projects.  I have to say my favorite was the cascading card that she cased from frenchiestamps.com.  Such an awesome WOW card.
