Halloween treat #3

I love useful gifts and while this may not be favorite with the kiddies, I think I can find some people that would love to get this gift- teachers!

I love that cute little pumpkin with a big-eyed friend hanging out on it!  I think that teachers or even co-workers would love this.  How about adding a gift card in the back?  What do you think?

Halloween Treat #2

Here is another Halloween treat idea using a classic Halloween toy- the spider ring.

I got 50 rings for a $1 from the dollar store.  Don't get me wrong, they are pretty cheap and flimsy.  Just enough wear to last through Halloween.

Add a little tag with the rings on it and you are good to go!

Halloween Treat #1

I am going to do a little series on Halloween Treats for the classroom.  The first is an easy project.  I bought a package of Halloween colored crazy straws at Target (6 for a $1 in the dollar section) and decorated them.

 Add a cute tag and you have a great gift for students or a cute favor idea for a Halloween party.

Happy Birthday Jim!

Gary and I went to a great birthday party this last weekend for our friend Jim Daughn. He is turning 70 and has been an awesome friend/ mentor.  I made this simple manly card.  Jim is in great shape and has a workout room that he calls the Superman Headquarters.  He is super and a winner in our books.

I love the colors on this paper and the paper ribbon. 

My go to birthday stamp right now.  I love it!  I feel like it really goes with the World Spectacular DSP.

Raffle prizes

As promised here are the raffle prizes for the mom's from my mother/ daughter crafty night at church.

This is a CASE from a stamp camp kit I recently purchased from my upline Niki.  You can see the inspiration here.

I really love this little project.  A large clothespin with paper flower.  I put a magnet on the back so it can go on the fridge.  How about a mommy and daughter picture on the card?

A sweet little treat for mom.  I LOVE mason jars and luckily a friend that won this prize loves them too.  She may not totally love the girly design, (she has 3 girls and is surrounded by everything girlie) but really who doesn't love candy?

Happy Birthday Bobby!

It's my oldest son's birthday today and I made him this card to go with his presents.  

Now, this is not a card you give an adult, right?  Not if you are Bobby.  We have a tradition where we give each other gifts and wrap them silly or add silly stuff to them.  One time Bobby added a loaf of bread to my gift, totally random and we were cracking up.  Also, we give silly cards too.  Hence, these cute little birthday monsters with party hats.

I found this cute silly wrapping paper and had to make a card to match.

Too cute right?

Happy birthday to my son and I know that he will like his gift from us, which is a very cool new printer he has been begging us to buy him for months.

Love notes

What a fun night last night!  It was a fellowship night at my church with the Girlz Club.  My friend Leona asked me to do a craft night and I came up with an idea for the girls and their moms to make love notes for each other.  I had the idea that they could make these pretty cards and have them on hand to write special 'I love you's' out of the blue.  I don't know who doesn't love getting a card especially one with words of love.

 The group made 3 cards (3X3) and a bookmark.  I kept the colors simple. 

 I just got a new stamp set called 'Crosses of hope' and I love it!  I think it is going to get a lot of use.  Everyone got a cello back with hershey kisses and 3X3 envelopes to put their projects in.

 What a great group!  We had so much fun I want to have another crafty night.  Ladies, what do you think?
