Last Pallet Art Post

So here is the final picture of my pallet art. I might show more in the future decorated differently, but for now here it is.
I added a store bought banner. It was cheaper and easier then making one so close to the 4th. The little decorations around it were made with love by my 2 boys. I love that the like to be crafty. I also love that their daycare is so crafty.

My Pallet Art

So after much thought I finally decided what I wanted to design on my pallet. I chose the dark stained pallet and red and white paint. We used normal acrylic paint and sponge brushes to paint. The way the lettering was created was by using the cricut. I chose Doodletype for my font. I created a stencil and taped it on while I was painted. Some of the ladies used contact paper. Both worked well. After we used sandpaper to distress it. Really a fun technique and the pallet is going to look great on my mantel.

Working on Pallet Art

I was invited to a women's craft night last Saturday. So much fun! Thanks Christine! Here are a few of the ladies working away. I have to admit it took me a while to get started. These ladies were very artistic and crafty. Thank you ladies for letting me take pictures of your pallet art.

Pinterest Inspired Pallet Art

I had such a great time Saturday night creating my own Pallet Art. My friend Christine invited me to her monthly moms craft night and she had us create pallet art. I wasn't really sure what pallet art was but loved it once everyone started creating. I probably sat there for about an hour just trying to decide what I was going to make. Luckily I had lots of creative and inspiring ladies around me. Here are a couple pictures of their creations.
