Wonderful you

Here is a card that I made for a possible new customer.  She is ready to place an order, but had last years catalog.   I put together a little bag of goodies: catalogs, Stampin' up! pen, Stampin' up! post-it notes, and a few goodies to play with.  What do you have?  My idea of fun.  Tee hee!  What do I like to do when I am not crafting?  How about dreaming of crafting?  I know, I am such a nerd! However, my favorite part of all is getting together with people that like to craft.

So here is a card I made for Sara.

Yes, a lot of pearls.  Lately in my crafting, I can't get enough of them.  I love the little paper pack this paper came in.  It is print poetry and there are a lot of cute designs.  Hope she likes it!

Sending thoughts and prayers...

This last sympathy card I made for a co-worker was probably my favorite.  I just winged it and used the Tea for Two DSP that is my favorite paper right now.

I love Soft Suede and Daffodil Delight paper together. It feels warm to me.  I also like the flowers.

How about that petite pairs stamp set?  I haven't broke out that stamp set in a while.  I like how it made me do something with the inside of the card which I don't do often.

Another sympathy card

This sympathy card I saw on pinterest and it was so easy to recreate.

There are a lot of pearls on this baby.  My little partner-in-crime Devan liked the "tree branch" as he called it and wanted to stamp with it.  I know that this stamp set screams sympathy just because it happens to be in the 'Thoughts and Prayer' stamp set, but my little guy likes it.  I'll have to show you the card he made soon.  It was very cute!

Sympathy card

A coworker of mine suffered a major loss and I offered to make some sympathy cards to pass around.  At my agency with so many people one card won't do.  I will show some cards that I made over the next few days.  This first one was simple and quick.

I accidentally put the pearls on before cutting the oval out and they got smashed in the big shot.  Kind-of like the look.   I like the simplicity of the flower from my 'Oh Hello' stamp set.  Stay tuned for a couple of more cards.

Happy Birthday Phyllis

This is a card that I created for my mother-in-law's upcoming birthday.  Most people that I have shown the card to automatically say that it is the perfect card for Phyllis.  Phyllis loves the color pink, loves roses, and pearls fit her to a tee.

I have to say I am so thankful my sister let me borrow the Stippled Blossom stamp set to try out.  I love how the flowers turn out.  So simple and so beautiful at the same time.  I have since purchased the set.  Will definitely come in handy for a Mother's Day card.

I had to stamp on the inside too.  I love the stamp set that has the MOM word with the flower inside.  Can't remember the name at this moment (I'm blogging from work), but it was a clearance rack purchase.  Originally it was in the 2012 Spring Catalog and I thought it would roll over to the catalog, but it didn't.  I was so happy to see it again in the clearance rack. Just such a cute set with super cute phrases for family.

Stippled Blossom Thank You

This was a super simple card that I cased from Pinterest.  I wanted to show the ladies in my Stamp Club that this stamp set can really dress up a card, but keep it very simple at the same time.

I used the Morning Post stamp set for the lettering.  When I had my club recreate the card I had them use Stazon Brown ink instead.  I think I need a new Early Espresso.  I did mess up a little on my lettering and had to improvise.  Instead of it saying 'Thanks' on the front (I couldn't fit the 'S' in) I decided to stamp YOU on the inside.  Think it worked out okay.  Nice and simple Thank You card with the very beautiful Stippled Blossom.

Cased Whale Valentine

A couple of the ladies in my Stamp Club loved the new Whale Stamp and Clearlit, so I obviously had to have something for them to make with that set.  I usually try to figure out what they are interested in trying out and try and incorporate that into my Technique Day.  :)

After much searching on Pinterest (I am so good at Pinterest I wish it was my job sometimes) I found this cute Whale Valentine card.  I loved how I was able to incorporate the Designer Series Paper, the new cloud embossing folder, and a couple other embellishments together to create this super cute card.  The ladies loved it too.  One of them even ended up ordering the paper after seeing how pretty is was.  :)

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines to my hubby!  I made him this card.  It was really hard not to make it so girly. But it's Valentine's so why not?

My favorite craft was Gary making heart people with the kids.  We both used to work in child care and this was one of his favorite Valentine projects.  Construction paper and scissors and creativity.

Look at these cuties and their cute creations!

Little Bit of Spring

So this stamp set has not been too popular yet and I can't figure out why.  I love the bunnies in this set.  Maybe once we get closer to Easter I will see more samples.  I am a casing kind of girl.  Teehee.  So this is what I came up with.

I used the new Honeycomb embossing folder (love!), the new mini butterfly punch (love!), and a couple other items to embellish with.  Love the simplicity of the card and obviously the cute bunny.

Happy Birthday Bethanne!

My long-time friend Bethanne had a birthday in January and it was a week before mine.  We usually get together around our birthdays.  I have known Bethanne since we were were age 6 and in 1st grade together.  We are trouble sisters.

I just bought Early Expresso paper pack for the first time.  Can you believe it? When we got together for a planning night for stamp camp, my friend Niki bought a card idea from Elizabeth Price.  You can see the card here.

Happy birthday cupcake!  I love this stamp.  It's cute and funny.  Just like my friend Bethanne.  Check us out:

Every time we get together we laugh and I love to hear her tell a story.  Happy birthday my friend!

A card for Lidia

My crafty friend Lidia is transferring to another unit at work.  I will totally miss her sitting near us.  I will still work closely with her but she will be sitting far away.  Usually we can talk over the cubicle wall about crafting.

Here is the card I made her:

Lidia is simply wonderful!  She made our crafty unit promise to include her in projects.  We totally will because she is awesome!

Happy Birthday Claudia!

My friend Claudia had a birthday in December.  I gave her birthday card way late because I was on vacation from work have the month of December.  No excuses though!  I felt so terrible!  Claudia loved her card and I had fun making it.

I used the same style that I used for my friend Charlette's card.  I love the style!

What do you think of the burlap?  I got burlap ribbon from Hobby Lobby for 50% off.  I love the butterflies and rhinestones.

Owl valentines-Sia style

Sia is so amazing! She brought these little goodies for us. She and I share a love for owls. Add some candy and what a cute and yummy gift.

Sia used punches, dies, score pad, and adorable paper. I LOVE it! What do you think?

Happy Birthday

Here is a card I made for the craftsomniacs crafty night with the girls.  Nothing to fancy- just some punches and embosslits with a little stamped sentiment.

Okay, it seems easy, but this little card was a lot of work!  I punched, inked, and glued these little shapes on the card.  Needless to say, it was great to use up my scraps, but took longer than I thought!  lol  Check out Andrea's card below.  She used the Patio party DSP and it looks great!

Andrea was a little frazzled after making this card.  I think her card came out great!

Happy Valentines Day 3-D project

My friend Chan made these cute little Hershey Kiss projects for the girls at the Craftsomniac's girl's night.  Look at these cute goodies my sister and I got.

Put two heart framelits together and it creates a Hershery Kiss.  Genius!  Add cute hearts and candy inside and you have the perfect gift.

Would this make a cute teacher gift?  I think so!  Check out Chan's blog here for great projects and classes.
