Downline Tea Party Banner

Of course the tea party wasn't a party without a BANNER!  I am a big fan of banners and my sister created such an awesome banner for the party using Stampin Ups Tea Shoppe Stamp Set, the new heart framelits, and punches.  It turned out so cute!

Downline meeting

Yesterday was so much fun!  I loved getting together with my group and doing some of my favorite things like drinking tea and crafting.  My sister and I started this blog together and we were wavering between doing a blog with tea for two and it morphed into teehee4two because we laugh with each other more than anything.  But my sister introduced me to the tea experience.  I was not a coffee or tea drinker.  Even now every morning I faithfully have a Diet Pepsi drink instead of coffee or regular tea.  My sister brought me to a Tea house in Clovis, California called, 'The Victorian Rose,' and the rest is history.  We love everything tea: little sandwiches, savory snacks, vanilla lemonade, little decadent desserts, fancy hats, Victorian decor, and most of all fancy teas.  My sister and I will have a stressful day and have a "little cup of happiness" (as Andrea would say). I definitely love teas that feel like you are drinking a dessert.  Also, I love going to a tea house because it feels like you are pampering your palette.  I hope that my group felt pampered, they totally deserved it for all of their hard work.

More on our downline meeting is yet to come.  I have goodies to show you of my groups talent!

This event wouldn't have been a success without my sister and mom.  They helped with the food and the tea accessories.  My mom letting me host the meeting at her house was a gift.  I am blessed to have a great family!

A little tea-hee

In honor of my tea-themed downline meeting tomorrow, my sister gave me some cards.  They are so adorable! I took a picture of them while we were at our favorite Japanese restaurant 'Yuri's.' We have been going to this restaurant since I was in high school and have many great memories. Mom, sis, and me enjoying great food and girlie chatter, so fun!

The only limitation is your imagination

This was on a sign on the wall at the bead store I worked at in college.  I got the job by dumping a whole shelf of beads on the floor.  Small little beads in cases everywhere mixing together.  Arrrgghh! Totally cringing just remembering it!   I told Debbie, the manager, that I really enjoy making jewelry and maybe she felt sorry for me, but advised that they were hiring and to come back the next day for an interview.  I did and got the job.  Hey, I owed them some serious labor after that move!  BEST job I ever had.  I was able to host children's parties, teach classes, and rub elbows with crafty people.  Speaking of teaching classes, last night was so fun at my wire-wrapping class!  I tell you my Stampin' Up! group has opened up a circle of people that are so talented and fun.  I really enjoyed getting together and look forward to scheduling another class quick!

I gave the women a spool of wire and a bag of beads.  They have extra's to play with so they can add chain for a necklace.  Also, they can add head pins and ear wires for the earrings.

Niki, Charlette, and Jen showing off their bracelets.  How cool are they?  I am amazed at how quick everyone caught on and I am definitely ready for another beading get together.

Mother's Day Cards

I am going to the Stampin Up convention!!! So excited. It is a little expensive though. I have decided to sell cards at work again. I sold some back in February and made $70 dollars after product! I work with a lot of men so it works toward my advantage. So I will be posting the different cards I am selling to my co-workers. Here's my first post. This one was inspired from a recent stamp camp I attended. I changed some colors and wording to make it my own.

Baby bassinet

How cute is this baby bassinet?  At a recent imprints meeting one of our projects was this cute 3D. Can you see it as a favor at a baby shower?  Could you also see it as a topper to a diaper cake filled with diaper pins? My up-upline Beverlee Morales the creater of this awesome project. Check out her blog here.

Hoo-ah

It's an army thing!  My co-worker Lynette had a party for her son Cameron and made these adorable and yummy cake pops.  My son Devan loved them and kept talking about them even after the party.  What an amazing send off for Cameron.  He is at Fort Benning, GA at basic training right now.  Family, friends, food, and a young man that is excited to train and defend our country.  I am so proud of him!  Check out the card below I made for him.  His favorite part?  Hoo-ah it's an army thing, of course!

Crafty Nite

Crafting with friends is so much fun.  My co-worker Lynette had some of us over to have a crafty nite.  We had a small group which was fine because there's more room to craft.  We are in Lynette's garage (AKA her craft room).  What an awesome space!  A large screen TV, fridge full of drinks, and large space to craft in- AWESOME!  Here is a card that I made for my coworker Laurie's birthday.  Do you recognize the card?  It is the versamark technique you saw from a previous post.  Don't the colors make the card look so different?
Don't you just love the dazzling diamond mixed bunch flowers?  This set has really grown on me and I use it a lot in my crafting.

Here are Claudia and Sia's cards. Aren't they so creative?  I love how different they look with just a little repositioning of embellishments.

Here they are hard and work.  See Lynette in the background?  Most of the cabinets hold her crafty stuff.  Yes, she actually has an inventory sheet for everything.  My friend Charlotta was also there, but wouldn't lett me post her picture.  She is making a baby shower gift.  I am crafting today with a friend again.  Yes, I have a downline meeting to get ready for (tea-themed) and I can't wait to show you all of the goodies I have been working on.

Fox and Friends Birthday

This is a retiring stamp set, but I would still recommend it while supplies last! Fox and Friends is great for birthday, celebrate, baby, thank you, etc.

ConGRADulations

I love these little graduation caps favors. The idea was from my sister Andrea. She made them for a swap at a past imprints meeting. I have it on display at my desk and my co-worker Lidia saw it and wanted to make them for her kindergartener's class. Wrap a little chocolate, and write an endearing phrase, "We did it." How cute, right?

Bunny foo-foo

How cute is this bunny craft? My co worker Lidia made them for her sons kindergarten class for Easter. I just had to post it because the bunny is so cute! Could you see it as a baby shower favor with the caption, "The Smith family is multiplying...?"

Another banner

Here is another banner. My sister Andrea is not the only one who loves banners! She does inspire me and someday I'll be as good as her. This banner was one of my displays at a recent stamp camp. I got the idea from a fellow Stampin' up! Demonstrator Angie Durrant.  Check out my Super Cay~

Here are Angie's banners!

 Aren't they fabulous?

Denim and Diamonds

My friend Claudia has a retirement party where the theme is 'Denim and Diamonds.'  She decided to make fun flower pins for she and her friends to wear.  I gave her a my son's old jeans that we were getting rid of and she bought some cool fabric with jewels on it.  She used the fun flower Stampin' Up! big shot die and made a gorgeous flower.  Check out how cute!

Check out Claudia.  She is awesome!  Notice my dry erase frame in the back?  I made it at a recent stamp camp to hand out as a raffle prize.  I had to make one for myself and I use it every day.

Summer Smooch Technique Day

Today was my monthly Stampin Up Club Day. I really look forward to this day once a month. I get to hang out with other crafty ladies, craft, teach stamping techniques, and learn new techniques myself. I put on club day with my friend Angela. She is such a crafty lady herself and I am so lucky that she opens up her beautiful home, serves snacks, always lets me borrow supplies that I have forgotten, and most importantly let's me sit in her craft room. I usually try to find at least one reason to go in there. I just have a craft corner in my bedroom, so I love a craft room.
